What are some common driving pet peeves?

You might be getting away with your driving pet peeves so far.  But be aware that with these bad habits, you are running the risk of getting a ticket if not an accident.  Not only that, you can also be pretty sure that the other drivers around are already cursing you.

Being cursed is not the worst part though.  Your pet peeves behind the wheel can possibly take their toll on your car insurance premium if you do not get rid of them soon.  So, do you see yourself as the protagonist in any of the following scenarios?  Time for a cool change…

* Distracted drivers talking on cell phones - there is a solution: purchasing a head set will make sure that both of your hands are free. Nevertheless, no matter how busy your hands are, your concentration should still remain strictly on the road, and not on the conversation.
* Slow drivers on the fast lane - this is the part where drivers should speed up. Whether they are students, or just extremely cautious people, this does get on other drivers’ nerves.
* Pushy drivers that tailgate - we all know that this seems to be a hassle. When you are rushing to work and stuck in traffic that finally seemed to clear up, the last thing that you want to see on the road are drivers who tailgate. Avoid being one of those drivers.
* Drivers who weave through traffic in order to get two or one car lanes - that does seem to be a problem on the road.
* Drivers who speed up to make sure that you don’t change the lane - if you have to change the car lane, and are doing so unintentionally, you do not want to get an obnoxious driver on the road who won’t let you do what you need. Changing lanes on the road is an important task, and you do not want a driver who speeds up on purpose.
* Drivers who change lanes without signaling - drivers like these are more than just annoying; they are dangerous and unexpected on the road.
* Road rage - as much as we might lose our tempers on the road, it is important to stay calm.
* Motorcyclists who race in the middle of cars - when being stuck in traffic, at times, you would wish that were you going through those cars.
* Men shaving and women applying makeup - waking up earlier or scheduling time better might prevent these pet peeves from repeating themselves.
* Drivers who leave their turn signal on for a long time - when is he going to make the turn?
