Stay-at-home moms or plain housewives are not getting any monetary compensation for their job.  That’s why they are counted as some of the unnamed heroes of families and societies—they are also unpaid, come to that.  However, it doesn’t mean a life insurance won’t help them.  Life insurance is not only for the family’s breadwinner.  People may not rely on you financially, but you anyone, especially our mothers, play a lot of roles that simply make them irreplaceable.  Life insurance won’t make up for them, but it will help at the very least.  In what way?

Stay-at-home moms are all-around people.  If you pay them for every single task at home that…

Right now, a debate is going on regarding the new Health Insurance Reform being sold by the White House to the Congress.  According to Kat Pickert in her article, “Taxing Pricey Insurance: No Health-care Cure” on Time.com, the Congress is finding a way to pay for the said reform and that they are actually considering putting taxes on health insurance benefits.

This plan may mean up to one trillion in the next ten years and U.S. citizens are in doubt as to where the government could get such a huge sum of money.  Tax free health benefits have been offered by employers for more than half a century now and most…

Families on a holiday most likely won’t take the risk of travelling to warzones and other unsafe spots in the world.  We mean, they intend to relax, have fun, and come back alive, right? In fact, most people won’t even consider it for the sake of longer life. This is the reason why they are also not difficult to convince to abide by the government’s advice not to go to such dangerous places.

However, businessmen who see a lot of opportunities in these countries are not as easy to convince, even though they are warned that the reward would not be worth the danger.  Besides, no travel insurance would even dare…

Summer’s here! First in your to-do list is to get a boat.  Next step?  Boat insurance, of course.

But what’s the right boat insurance for your spanking new bass fishing boat?

Well, it actually depends on how big and functional it is.  For small boats that go less than 25 miles per hour, such as kayaks and canoes, you can just insure them under your homeowners or renters insurance policy according to the Insurance Information Institute (III).  But for more powerful boats, like high performance wakeboarding boats or party barges, you have to protect them with a separate insurance policy.

The insurance covers the hull, machinery, fittings, furnishings and permanently attached equipment, in…

We all have our dream cell phones, and once we have it in our hands, we would treat it like our baby.  Part of this treatment is a cell phone insurance, an offer which most of us have reluctantly accepted from the pesky sales guy.  But since we so loved our new phone and we just could not wait to get home and explore it interruption-free, we give in to the deal, not realizing what an unfair accord we’ve just gotten ourselves into.

Paying 5% of your phone’s original value per month is not very different from paying $1,500 per month to insure a $30,000 car.  Whoever calls that a bargain…

For the third year around, NFU Mutual has been declared by Auto Express magazine as Britain’s ‘best car insurance provider.’  But what exactly is the basis for giving such title and recognition?

Of course, there is the survey conducted by Auto Express, gathering customer reviews on the performance of 45 leading car insurers.  And, the survey said: NFU Mutual has outdone the 44 others be it in according to the value for money, helpfulness, communication or overall performance.  NFU Mutual was number one in all of these categories.

Nevertheless, anyone can do his own survey and claim success, and a company may exceed the rest only in certain aspects.  For instance, a…
